Grants Available to Non-traditional Providers

The State of Ohio has been awarded a three-year, $7 million Access to Recovery IV (ATR) grant award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to provide vouchers for recovery support services and treatment services to more than 4,300 criminal justice-involved adults and military service members. 

The Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, along with eight other Boards throughout Ohio received grant funding from Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services in support of the initiative.   The grant period started May 1, 2015 and will run through April 20, 2018. 

Agencies interested in applying to become an ATR provider should submit an application by no later than 4pm on August 31, 2015 to the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, 2350 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio  45219 or at hcmhrsb@hamilton.mhrsb.state.oh.us.
