Strategic Planning
Strategic Planning
MHRSB engages in strategic planning to assess and adjust its direction in response to local and state political developments, changing demographics and service needs, behavioral health care challenges that are occurring at the local, state, and national levels, economic conditions, and potential changes to national healthcare policies. Strategic planning acknowledges increasing demands for MHRSB to do more with less while continuing to demonstrate the effectiveness of its planning, oversight, and advocacy activities.
The strategic plan guides MHRSB future direction, describes the actions needed to make progress, and defines measures to determine success. The plan guides MHRSB in setting new priorities, focusing resources, aligning system-wide goals, and identifying intended results.
The results of strategic planning are used for targeting resource allocation among service providers.
